AC Unit on Sleepers - [Code Approved]
This is an example of a roof mounted air conditioning unit resting directly
on the roof or on "sleepers." The Florida building code no longer allows this method
of installation. When re-roofing, the unit must be removed and reinstalled by a
licensed A.C. contractor or a code approved stand, as seen in the next photo.
