This is an example of the aged, rustic look many desire to give their roof the "old
World" look. This photo was taken in Bogotá. The roof is in excess of 30 years
old, Clay Barrel Tile such as this were one of the first roof coverings ever made
and installed. Ancient Roman structures such as coliseums and Temples were covered
with wood planks, hot tar coated with wood, and clay terra cotta barrel tile were
then installed, in the same fashion as this roof. |
